Are you an experienced Family Worker / Family Support Worker looking for your next challenge?

I’m currently recruiting for MULTIPLE Senior Family Worker positions within a busy Family Connect service in Oldham.

This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced practitioners who want to work directly with children and families experiencing complex and challenging circumstances, while having the opportunity to make a genuine, lasting difference.

? THE ROLE

As a Senior Family Worker, you’ll work with families with multiple and complex needs, providing intensive, strengths-based support and helping families build resilience, independence and positive outcomes.

You’ll be responsible for:

??????? Managing your own complex caseload
? Acting as Lead Professional
? Completing assessments and developing bespoke support plans
?? Chairing multi-agency meetings
? Coordinating support across social care, health, education, police and voluntary services
?? Building trusted relationships with families who may be reluctant to engage
?? Supporting families experiencing issues including mental health, domestic abuse, offending and substance misuse
? Completing specialist assessments and reports, including Parenting Assessments where required
? Helping families achieve sustainable, positive change

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

I'm particularly interested in hearing from candidates with:

? Significant experience supporting children and families with complex needs
? Experience undertaking assessments and developing intervention plans
? Experience working with multi-agency professionals
? Experience chairing meetings and coordinating support
? Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
? The resilience and persistence needed to work with challenging family circumstances
? NVQ Level 4 in a relevant subject OR substantial equivalent experience

This is a role for someone who can build relationships, provide challenge, coordinate professionals and ultimately help families move forward.
