Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Neighbourhood Officer to join a housing provider in Coventry on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a housing professional with strong tenancy and ASB experience to manage a defined patch and deliver high-quality neighbourhood services.
The Role
You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a neighbourhood patch, ensuring communities are safe, well-managed, and places residents are proud to live. The role involves managing tenancy issues, responding to anti-social behaviour, carrying out estate inspections, and working closely with residents and partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes.

The Role

The role involves managing tenancy issues, responding to anti-social behaviour, carrying out estate inspections, and working closely with residents and partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a geographical patch, delivering effective neighbourhood and tenancy management services
- Investigate and manage anti-social behaviour (ASB) cases, gathering evidence and working to resolve issues using appropriate tools and legislation
- Enforce tenancy conditions where breaches occur, including abandoned properties, subletting, and illegal occupation
- Provide tenancy advice and support to residents, managing changes and tenancy-related issues
- Carry out regular estate inspections, identifying issues and coordinating appropriate actions
- Work collaboratively with internal teams, legal services, and external agencies
- Support tenancy terminations and ensure properties are recovered in line with procedure
- Maintain accurate records and performance information
- Identify safeguarding concerns and make appropriate referrals in line with policy
- Experience working within social housing or neighbourhood/tenancy management
- Strong knowledge of tenancy enforcement and basic understanding of ASB legislation
- Experience managing complex customer cases and delivering high levels of customer service
- Ability to manage a varied workload and prioritise effectively
- Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
- Competent IT skills for case management and reporting
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
