Location: Leek Wootton (with travel across Warwickshire)
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 37 hours per week (Monday-Friday)
Pay Rate: £50,949 - £57,186 £2,850 Market Supplement per annum

About the Role:

You’ll act as a subject matter expert, ensuring network performance, security, and compliance while driving continuous improvement and innovation across the environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support, maintain, and optimise network infrastructure (physical and virtual) to ensure high availability and performance
- Design and implement network solutions aligned to business and digital strategy
- Act as a technical subject matter expert across network configuration, security, and infrastructure
- Conduct impact assessments and assure quality of changes to existing systems
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, security requirements, and best practice
- Analyse business requirements and recommend scalable, cost-effective solutions
- Build strong relationships with suppliers, managed service providers, and partner organisations
- Contribute to continuous improvement, innovation, and adoption of emerging technologies
Essential skills and experience:
- Strong experience supporting and delivering network infrastructure within a large, complex organisation
- Proven expertise in:
- Cisco technologies
- SD-WAN, VLANs, Azure vWAN
- Static and dynamic routing
- Network monitoring and management tools
- Experience with cloud networking (Azure and/or AWS)
- Ability to produce technical design documentation and service artefacts
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to assess risk and implement solutions
- Experience working with third-party suppliers and service providers
- Experience with Avaya telephony, Zscaler, SolarWinds, Sentinel
- Knowledge of ISO 20000 / IT Service Management frameworks
