Salaried GP (Newly Qualified) – ARRS Funded Location: Bolton

Contract: ASAP – March 2026
Location: Covering sites across the Bolton area
Systems: Emis Web & SystmOne (site dependent)
Clinical Template: 25 patient contacts per day, 40 mins admin

Part-time availability (ideally 4 sessions over 2 days a week)

Job Summary Our established is seeking a Newly Qualified GP (within 2 years of CCT) to join its collaborative, high-performing network of practices. This role provides an excellent opportunity for a developing GP to gain broad clinical exposure, strong support, and long-term stability through ARRS funding.

You will deliver a range of duties outlined in the GMS contract, including consultations, clinical administration, prescribing responsibilities, and continuity of care across PCN sites.

Main Responsibilities

• Conduct face-to-face and telephone consultations for a wide range of clinical presentations.
  
  
• Undertake home visits and nursing home reviews as required.
  
  
• Manage repeat prescriptions, medication queries, and relevant clinical documentation.
  
  
• Screen patients for risk factors, early signs of illness, and chronic disease indicators.
  
  
• Request, interpret and action diagnostic tests, ensuring appropriate follow-up.
  
  
• Develop personalised care and treatment plans in line with NICE and local guidance.
  
  
• Maintain accurate, high-standard clinical notes using EMIS or SystmOne.

About You

• Newly qualified GP within 2 years of CCT, and have not held a salaried position since.
  
  
• Confident in managing a broad primary care caseload.
