Contract Type: Temporary (3 Months)
Hours: Full time (37 hours per week) – (22:00PM – 07:00AM)
Salary: £12.22 per hour (PAYE) / £15.66 per hour (Umbrella)
About the Role
This position sits within Adult Care, specifically supporting individuals in the Learning Disability service. The Night Care Worker will provide compassionate, person-centred care, ensuring safety, comfort, and wellbeing throughout night hours.
Key Responsibilities

• Provide overnight support and supervision to adults with learning disabilities.
• Promote dignity, independence, and wellbeing at all times.
• Work effectively as part of a care team to maintain a safe and supportive environment.
• Follow care plans, risk assessments, and organisational procedures.
• Ensure confidentiality and professional conduct at all times.

Experience & Knowledge

• Experience or awareness of working within adult care settings.
• Understanding of the needs of elderly and disabled individuals.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and confidentiality requirements.

Skills & Competencies

• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to contribute positively to team working.
• Reliability and commitment to high-quality care.

Additional Requirements

• Willingness to work night shifts.
• Enhanced DBS may be required.
