Occupational Therapist – Redbridge Council
Salary: £41.58 UMB/hr (£31.46 PAYE)
Contract: 36 hrs/week | 12-week contract (potential to extend)
Working style: 1 day in the office and occasional home visits to support the service needs

We are working on behalf of Redbridge Council and an exciting opportunity has risen for an Occupational Therapist to join their team supporting adults through remote assessments and intervention. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in adult social care, reablement, and hospital discharge pathways.

What you’ll do:

• Conduct remote assessments via phone/video.
• Provide advice, guidance, and equipment support.
• Manage complex cases and risk safely.
• Collaborate with social care, health, housing, and voluntary teams.
• Contribute to prevention-focused initiatives and minor adaptations.

You’ll need:

• Experience in adult social care, community OT, reablement, or hospital discharge.
• Ability to handle complex cases in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of Care Act, housing legislation, and strength-based approaches.
• Excellent phone and digital communication skills.
