Location: Blackpool Police Station HQ, FY4 4FG
Contract: 6 month contract with potential extension
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm
Pay Rate: £14.85 PAYE per hour

About the Role:
To coordinate the management of the Lancashire Constabulary Organised Crime Group Mapping (OCGM) process and GENGA partnership network, supporting a 4P approach (Prevent, Protect, Pursue, Prepare) to tackle serious and organised crime across Lancashire.
Key Responsibilities:
- Effectively manage the Lancashire Constabulary OCGM process for the BCU.
- Integrate information from internal and external partner organisations to ensure accurate reflection of OCG threat and mapping.
- Review the OCG database for impartiality, consistency, and accurate harm assessment of OCGs.
- Participate in departmental tasking, providing updates and advice on key threats and disruption opportunities.
- Ensure departmental contributions to OCG management align with the 4P model.
- Assist in producing 4P management reports across all departments.
- Act as the local SPOC for receiving GENGA referrals and generate referrals from partner organisations.
- Organise local GENGA multi-agency meetings; support chairing with agenda planning, reports, and briefings.
- Maintain BCU multi-agency partnership engagement and collaborative problem-solving forums.
- Oversee efficient operation of BCU partnerships.
- Identify effective lines of communication between key partners to maximise intelligence.
- Coordinate the PAM (IT) platform for 4P management plans and partnership referral pathways.
- Support local BCU serious and organised crime profiles and action plans.
- Maintain knowledge of intelligence assets to coordinate multi-agency responses against OCGs.
- Assist the Force OCGM & POLICE GENGA Lead with consistent application of OCGM and multi-agency working.
- Guide LROs, frontline staff, and departments in engaging with the GENGA process.
- Maintain a directory of partner agencies, tools, and powers.
- Collaborate with civil enforcement teams to consider civil orders against OCG and GENGA disruption targets.
- Perform any other duties consistent with the role’s nature, responsibilities, and grading.
Essential skills and experience:
- Knowledge and experience of applying legislation, policy, and procedure relating to OCGs and intelligence.
- Experience interrogating computer systems to produce reports and management information.
- Experience using police databases for research and recording information.
- Experience dealing with the public and working in partnership with other departments/agencies.
- Experience providing advice and guidance on policies and procedures.
- Strong written communication with high attention to detail.
- Computer literate across Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
- Experience working independently to investigate problems and develop solutions.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with tact and diplomacy.
- Ability to travel on Constabulary business.
