Care Worker – Learning Disabilities Residential Care
Location: Islington, N1 3AS
Contract: 3 Months
Pay: £24.50 UMBRELLA (£18.50 PAYE)

We are working on behalf of a client who are looking for a caring and dedicated Care Worker to join their friendly residential team supporting individuals with learning disabilities. This is a fantastic 3 months opportunity to make a real difference in a supportive, person-centred environment where your work truly matters.

 What You’ll Do

• Provide high-quality, compassionate care and support to residents with learning disabilities
• Assist with daily living tasks, personal care, and medication administration
• Encourage independence and participation through meaningful activities
• Promote a safe and nurturing environment with best-practice manual handling
• Maintain accurate care records and uphold health and safety standards
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver person-centred support

 What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in residential or learning disability care
• Confident manual handling skills
• A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Flexibility to work various shifts
