About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Painter/Decorator to join our property maintenance team. You will deliver high-quality painting and decorating services across multiple sites, carrying out repairs, maintenance, and improvement work. This is a hands-on role, working directly with customers and ensuring a professional and efficient service.
You will also have the opportunity to work across other trade disciplines, including plastering, tiling, minor carpentry, and brickwork, helping to complete jobs efficiently in a single visit wherever possible.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality painting and decorating services.
- Undertake additional tasks such as plastering, tiling, carpentry, minor brickwork, radiator installation, and glazing.
- Estimate time and materials required for jobs and plan work to minimise waste.
- Communicate professionally with customers, keeping them informed of progress.
- Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment in good condition.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations.
- Leave properties clean, tidy, and safe at the end of each job.
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Level 3 Painting and Decorating qualification (or equivalent) with at least 3 years’ experience.
- Experience working in domestic and commercial property maintenance.
- Ability to work across multiple trades (plastering, tiling, carpentry, minor brickwork).
- Full UK driving licence.
- Physically fit, able to work at heights and lift heavy materials.
- Good hand skills, attention to detail, and ability to problem-solve efficiently.
- Strong communication skills and customer-focused attitude.
Desirable:
- Experience mentoring apprentices or trainees.
- Familiarity with property maintenance tools, equipment, and IT systems.
