Painter & Decorator

We are recruiting for an experienced Painter & Decorator to join a busy social housing maintenance team on a temp to perm basis, covering Hulme and the surrounding areas, with a pay rate of £24.09 per hour, company van and tools provided.

Please read the working pattern before applying, as this is a fixed requirement for the role:

40 hours per week

• 11:30am – 8:00pm on 4 weekdays
  
  
• Every Saturday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
  
  
• Sunday + 1 weekday off each week
  
  

You'll be responsible for delivering high-quality repairs and maintenance work within occupied social housing properties while providing excellent customer service to tenants.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out day-to-day painting and decorating works.
  
  
• Complete planned and reactive maintenance.
  
  
• Undertake basic multi-trade repairs where required.
  
  
• Work safely and in line with company procedures.
  
  
• Maintain accurate records of completed work.
  
  
• Deliver a professional, customer-focused service to residents.
  
  

What We're Looking For

• NVQ Level 2 in Painting & Decorating (or equivalent).
  
  
• Previous experience within social housing repairs and maintenance.
  
  
• Full UK Driving Licence.
  
  
• Multi-trade skills (desirable).
  
  
• Good understanding of health and safety.
  
  
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
