Job Description
Service Care Solutions are working with a respected financial advisory firm to recruit an experienced Paraplanner to join their growing team.

In this role, you’ll provide comprehensive paraplanning support to advisers — conducting research, analysing portfolios, and producing high-quality suitability reports. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring clients receive accurate, compliant, and tailored financial advice.

This position offers the opportunity to work closely with senior advisers, gain exposure to complex cases, and contribute directly to the firm’s continued success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct provider and product research, fund performance analysis, and cashflow modelling (using FE Analytics or similar tools).
  • Prepare bespoke, compliant suitability reports aligned with individual client objectives.
  • Analyse Fact Finds and KYC documentation to determine appropriate recommendations.
  • Support advisers and senior staff with technical analysis and evidence-based advice.
  • Manage cases from start to finish, resolving technical queries and maintaining service standards.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues via email, phone, and written correspondence.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent service delivery and provide cover where needed.
Candidate Criteria
  • Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (DipPFS) or actively working towards completion.
  • Proven experience as a Paraplanner within a financial services or advisory firm.
  • Strong technical knowledge of pensions, investments, and retirement planning.
  • Skilled in report writing, fund analysis, and cashflow modelling.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and compliance.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
