Job Description
Service Care Solutions are working with a nationwide financial advisory network to recruit an experienced Paraplanner to one of their offices in Somerset. This post will play a key role in supporting Financial Planners and delivering exceptional service to the firm’s clients.

This a fantastic opportunity for growth and development as this position will act as a lead for the other Paraplanners in the team, providing real expertise to the firm. Key Responsibilities

• Collaborating with Financial Planners to understand and document client goals.
• Preparing detailed financial reports and conducting thorough research and analysis.
• Liaising with product providers and maintaining accurate client records
• Supporting pre-meeting preparation through data gathering and analysis
• Analysis of client policies (incl. pensions, investments, protection) to review whether they are still aligned with their objectives.
• Work closely with the financial adviser & admin team to follow cases through to completion in a timely manner
• Preparation of client review letters and suitability reports for approval by the Financial Adviser and preparation of accompanying documentation as required.

Candidate Criteria

• Level 4 Diploma obtained (DipPFS, DipFA or equivalent) or completing final exam/module
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a Paraplanner role or similar in Financial Services
• Experience of preparing suitability reports and pre-meeting documents for client cases
• Understanding of pension schemes, retirement income strategies, and pension taxation.
• Professional telephone manner and good organisational skills
