Job Title: Band 9 Pharmacist
Location: Berkshire – NHS Trust
Contract Type: Temporary Agency Contract
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Pay: Competitive hourly rate (via umbrella or PAYE)

Service Care Solutions is currently recruiting for an experienced Band 9 Pharmacist to join an NHS team in Berkshire on a temporary agency basis. This is a full-time role offering the opportunity to work within a dynamic and forward-thinking clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead on medicines optimisation, including budget setting and financial management.
• Provide expert clinical advice across departments and support safe, effective prescribing practices.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and ensure compliance with NHS standards.
• Contribute to strategic planning and service development within the pharmacy department.

Essential Requirements:

• GPhC Registration as a Pharmacist.
• Master’s Degree in Pharmacy.
• Significant NHS experience in a senior clinical pharmacy role.
• Proven experience in medicines optimisation, including budget oversight and cost-effective prescribing.
