Planning Lawyer

Service Care Legal are seeking an experienced Planning Lawyer to join a local authority legal team on an initial 3-month contract, with the potential for extension.
 
ROLE:                  Locum Planning Lawyer
LOCATION:         Civic Centre / Hybrid
CONTRACT:        3 months (potential to extend), full-time or part-time available
RATE:                   £46.55ph umbrella / £41.45ph PAYE inc. Holiday pay / £36.99ph PAYE exc. holiday pay
 
Please note that this role would require occasional office attendance.
 
The Role
 

• Advising on and drafting S106 agreements and other planning-related legal documentation.
• Supporting planning applications, providing clear and practical legal advice.
• Advising on Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG), Green Belt and large-scale housing developments.

 
About You
 

• Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Fellow of CILEX with relevant planning experience.
• Experience handling S106 agreements and planning applications.
• Strong knowledge of BNG, Green Belt and major housing development matters.
