Plasterer

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Plasterer to join a repairs and maintenance team covering the Nottingham, Leicester and Derby areas. This role involves working on both void and occupied domestic properties.

We’re looking for a Plasterer with a full driving licence and experience in construction or domestic housing. A van and fuel card will be provided along with a company mobile and uniform.

Duties Include:
 

• Carrying out plastering repairs and maintenance within both void and occupied domestic properties.
• Applying bonding, browning, hardwall, finishing plaster and patch repairs.
• Skimming walls and ceilings to achieve a high-quality finish ready for decorating.
• Repairing damaged plasterwork caused by leaks, electrical work, plumbing repairs and general wear and tear.
• Preparing surfaces by cleaning, removing loose materials and applying bonding agents where required.
• Installing and repairing plasterboard, including dot and dab fixing.
• Making good following maintenance works, including chasing & patching.
• Carrying out rendering and external patch repairs where required.

This is a fantastic opportunity to secure sociable, full-time hours Monday to Friday. The hourly pay rate for this role is £22.27 Ltd (PAYE equivalent £19.11 inclusive of holiday).

You will be working a standard 37-hour week, with potential for overtime. An immediate start is available.

You will need:
 

• NVQ Level 2 or above in Plastering
• Full UK driving licence (Manual Vehicles)
