Plumber

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Plumber to join a local authority’s repairs and maintenance team based in Loughborough. This role involves working on both void and occupied domestic properties.

We’re looking for a Plumber experienced in repairs and maintenance on domestic properties. You will be covering responsive repairs and this is a stable, full-time role ideal for someone with social housing or council experience.

Duties Include:
 

• Carry out responsive repair of domestic plumbing systems, including pipework, fixtures, and fittings.
• Diagnose and resolve plumbing issues such as leaks, blockages, low water pressure, and heating problems.
• Repair domestic appliances connected to water supply
• Carry out fault-finding and perform necessary corrective actions in line with safety regulations.

This is a fantastic opportunity to secure sociable, full-time hours Monday to Friday. The hourly pay rate for this role is £20.00 Ltd (PAYE equivalent £17.16 inclusive of holiday).

You will be working a standard 37-hour week, with potential for overtime. An immediate start is available.

You will need:
 

• Proven experience in Plumbing, ideally within social housing or council work
• Your own basic hand tools and PPE
• Full UK driving licence
• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Plumbing
