Plumber

We are recruiting for an experienced Plumber to join a social housing maintenance team covering Hulme and surrounding areas in Manchester. This is a temp to perm position carrying out repairs, maintenance, and refurbishment work within occupied and void residential properties. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality workmanship while maintaining excellent customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out responsive plumbing repairs in occupied and void social housing properties.
• Diagnose and repair leaks, burst pipes, blocked wastes and defective plumbing systems.
• Repair or replace taps, toilets, cisterns, sinks, baths, showers and associated fittings.
• Install and maintain pipework, valves, wastes and drainage components.
• Complete bathroom and kitchen plumbing work as part of refurbishment programmes.
• Trace faults and identify the most appropriate repair solution.

Requirements
 

• NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing.
• Previous experience working within social housing.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Ability to carry out basic multi-trade repairs.

Salary & Benefits
 

• £25.43 Ltd per hour (PAYE equivalent is £21.82)
• 12 Weeks Temp – Perm  
• Company van provided.

• PPE supplied.
• Overtime available.
• 40 hours per week.
