We are currently recruiting for an experienced Plumber to join a busy social housing repairs and maintenance team covering Hulme and surrounding areas, carrying out planned and reactive plumbing repairs within tenants' homes.
THE ROLE
As a Plumber, you will be responsible for completing high-quality plumbing repairs and maintenance across social housing properties, while providing a professional and customer-focused service to tenants and residents.

• Carry out day-to-day plumbing repairs within occupied social housing properties.
• Complete both planned and reactive plumbing maintenance works.
• Undertake basic multi-trade repairs and maintenance tasks where required.
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently and to a high standard.
• Ensure all works are carried out safely and in accordance with health and safety requirements and company procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
• Provide a professional, respectful and customer-focused service to tenants and residents.

THE CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have previous experience working as a Plumber within social housing repairs and maintenance, with the ability to work independently and manage a varied workload across residential properties.

• NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing or an equivalent recognised qualification.
• Previous experience carrying out plumbing repairs in social housing or residential properties.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Multi-trade skills would be advantageous.
• Good understanding of health and safety requirements and safe working practices.

THE CONTRACT
Working Hours: 40 hours per week, working 11:30am–8:00pm on four weekdays, plus every Saturday 8:00am–4:30pm.
Length of Contract: Permanent
Rate: £43,813.00 per year, plus company van, tools, PPE and overtime opportunities.
