Service Care Solutions are looking for an experienced Intelligence Assistant to work on a full-time, long-term contract with a UK based Police Force, based in Blackburn, Lancashire.
Pay Rate: £15.48 per hour (PAYE)
Applicants must have Law Enforcement work experience in order to be considered for this position and must be able to successfully pass Police Vetting checks.

Duties:
- Support the management and review of Organised Crime Group (OCG) intelligence and mapping information.
- Collate and integrate intelligence from internal departments and external partner agencies.
- Research police and intelligence databases to identify relevant information and emerging threats.
- Produce accurate reports, management information, statistics, tables and other intelligence products.
- Support tasking and coordination processes by providing updates on key threats and intelligence.
- Assist with the coordination of multi-agency meetings, including preparing agendas, reports and briefings.
- Act as a point of contact for intelligence referrals from partner organisations.
- Maintain accurate records, databases, partner information and intelligence management systems.
- Support multi-agency activity aimed at disrupting serious and organised crime.
- Work with police departments and partner agencies to identify opportunities for joint working and information sharing.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with a high level of accuracy, professionalism and discretion.
- Provide general administrative and coordination support to the intelligence and organised crime functions.
- Previous Law Enforcement experience is essential.
- Experience working with police, intelligence or criminal justice information.
- Experience using databases or computer systems to research, record and retrieve information.
- Experience of collating, analysing and presenting information accurately.
- Experience producing reports, spreadsheets or management information.
- Experience working with multiple departments, agencies or external partners.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently, use initiative and manage competing priorities.
- Willingness and ability to successfully complete Police Vetting checks.
