Practice Nurse - Full-Time Locum Contract

We are currently recruiting a Practice Nurse for a full-time locum contract at a busy GP surgery in Driffield, Yorkshire. This is a long-term opportunity offering a minimum of 3 months of continuous work, with an ASAP start date. Practice Nurse – Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering travel vaccinations and immunisations
• Managing COPD and asthma reviews
• Supporting patients with diabetes management
• Conducting routine practice nurse duties as required
• Providing high-quality patient care within a primary care environment

Candidate Responsibilities:

• Ensure all vaccinations and immunisations are administered accurately
• Perform comprehensive COPD and asthma assessments
• Assist patients effectively with diabetes and other chronic conditions
• Maintain organized and thorough patient records
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver seamless patient care

Practice Nurse – Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a Practice Nurse within a GP surgery
• Competency in travel vaccinations, COPD/asthma management, and diabetes care
• Strong clinical skills with attention to detail
• Excellent organisational abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Additional Details:

• Contract length: 2 months
