About the Role We are seeking a dedicated, adaptable, and enthusiastic Primary School Supply Teacher to join our team and provide high-quality teaching across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2. The role involves delivering planned lessons, supporting pupils’ learning, and maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment in the absence of the class teacher.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons following the school’s plans and curriculum.
  
  
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school’s behaviour policy.
  
  
• Adapt to different year groups, subjects, and school settings when required.
  
  
• Ensure the safeguarding and welfare of all pupils at all times.
  
  
• Provide feedback on pupil progress to class teachers or senior leaders as needed.
  
  
• Maintain a calm, supportive atmosphere that promotes learning and pupil well-being.
  
  
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
  
  
• Complete any required marking or short-term planning in line with school expectations.
  
  

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  
  
• Recent experience teaching in a primary school setting (EYFS/KS1/KS2).
  
  
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  
  
• Ability to work flexibly and confidently across different year groups.
  
  
• A secure understanding of the UK National Curriculum.
  
  
• Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to apply for one).
  
  
• Reliability, professionalism, and a positive attitude.
