Job Description
Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting on behalf of a Local Authority in Northamptonshire for a Principal Auditor to join the team on a temporary basis. This is a valuable role in the delivery of assignments within the Internal Audit Plan. This will include both financial and non-financial controls and potential work with partners and schools.

The post holder is required to plan and deliver audits which will provide assurance over the
adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls operating for the Council and its partners.
The role will require the post holder to identify risks, assess controls and inform an
assurance opinion over a diverse range of services delivered to our local communities.

Candidate Criteria

• CCAB/CIMA/PIIA/CMIIA Qualified or Part-Qualified with extensive experience
• Experience of planning and delivering end-to-end audits for a Local Authority
• Experience of preparing draft report and working papers with a high degree of accuracy
• Great communication skills with the ability to work well on own initiative as well as part of a team
