Prison Maintenance Technician

Service Care Solutions is recruiting for a Prison Maintenance Technician to support ongoing and planned works at HMP East Sutton Park.

The role involves delivering reactive and preventative maintenance across the estate, ensuring the safe, secure and compliant operation of prison facilities, and working closely with GFSL site teams to complete maintenance tasks and project work.

The role will include:

• Carry out reactive and planned maintenance across multiple building systems and infrastructure
  
  
• Support safe and secure operation of prison facilities (plumbing, carpentry, electrical basics, general repairs)
  
  
• Work alongside trades colleagues and GFSL site teams to complete projects and repairs
  
  
• Maintain high standards of safety, security and compliance in all tasks
  
  

Must have

• Previous experience in maintenance, trades, or multi-skilled technical work
  
  
• Ability to use a range of hand and power tools safely
  
  
• Experience in commercial/industrial maintenance environments
  
  
• Strong safety awareness and ability to follow site procedures
  
  

Nice to have

• Experience in building systems or facilities work
  
  
• Understanding of planned preventive maintenance
  
  
• Experience in secure or regulated environments
