Probation Services Officer (PSO) – Approved Premises

Service Care Solutions is recruiting an experienced Probation Services Officer to join the team at an Approved Premises in Old Windsor, supporting the safe management of residents on licence and post-sentence supervision.

The Role

• Support the day-to-day running of the AP, including risk management and resident supervision
• Complete risk assessments and contribute to sentence/risk management planning
• Liaise with Probation Officers, Police, and partner agencies to manage MAPPA cases
• Maintain accurate case records on OASys
• Conduct curfew checks, room searches, and enforce AP licence conditions
• Support residents' resettlement and through the gate planning

About You

• Previous experience in an Approved Premises, prison, or probation setting
• Working knowledge of OASys and risk management frameworks
• Confident managing high-risk individuals in a residential setting
• Enhanced DBS and willingness to undergo BPSS/vetting (EL1/EL2)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
