Service Care Solutions are recruiting for an exceptional Project Manager to join a charity dedicated to reducing the harm caused by crime and punishment through lived experience-led change.

This is a unique opportunity for someone with personal experience of the criminal justice system to step into a leadership role delivering impactful programmes across London prisons, IRCs, secure mental health settings, and community services.

About the Role

You will lead two major programmes at the intersection of health, justice, and forensic mental health, managing projects that amplify lived experience and influence real system change.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading delivery of Patient & Public Voice (PPV) activity across custodial and community settings
  • Recruiting, training, and supporting lived experience volunteers and peer workers
  • Managing stakeholder relationships across NHS, prisons, and partner organisations
  • Facilitating engagement sessions, focus groups, and co-production initiatives
  • Overseeing governance, safeguarding, reporting, and project performance
About You

To be successful, you must have:

  • Lived experience of prison or probation
  • Strong project management experience
  • Experience supporting volunteers, peer workers, or lived experience roles
  • A background working with vulnerable groups in complex systems (e.g. prisons, NHS, forensic MH)
  • Experience of facilitation, co-production, and line management
Why Apply?
  • 25 days annual leave bank holidays
  • Travel fully covered from home
  • Opportunity to lead meaningful, system-wide change
  • Work within a highly respected lived experience organisation
We strongly encourage applications from individuals with convictions and diverse backgrounds.
