Project Manager – Young Futures Hub
Location: Bristol (Hybrid Working)
Employer: Bristol City Council
Contract: Initial 3 months
Hours: 37 hours per week
Rate: £500 per day (umbrella) (£410 PAYE per day)
About the Role An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Bristol City Council as a Project Manager, supporting innovative developments for children and young people through the Young Futures Hubs Programme.
The postholder will report to the Strategic Lead for Youth and Early Help, providing hands-on project management support during the co-design and planning phase of the programme, as well as contributing to wider Early Help initiatives.
This role will require both strategic oversight and practical delivery — including facilitating workshops, engaging key partners, and driving forward project milestones that will shape the future of youth support services across Bristol.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the co-design and planning phase of the Young Futures Hubs Programme.
- Support workshops and stakeholder engagement sessions with young people, partners, and community organisations.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and governance structures to ensure successful delivery.
- Provide regular updates and reporting to senior leaders and stakeholders.
- Collaborate across Early Help programmes to align project outcomes with wider youth and family priorities.
- A proven track record of managing projects within children’s services, youth development, education, or community programmes.
- Strong skills in co-design, stakeholder engagement, and multi-agency collaboration.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage complex programmes and competing priorities.
- Experience within local government or the public/voluntary sector would be highly beneficial.
