Property Lawyer

Service Care Solutions is working with a bustling local authority, based in North Wales, which is seeking an experienced Property Lawyer to join its Legal Services team on a fully remote basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an adaptable, proactive legal professional to support a busy public‑sector property function while enjoying complete flexibility in working location.
 
Role: Property Lawyer – Local Authority
Location: North Wales (home‑based)
Contract: 6–9 months, with strong potential for extension
Hours: 15 hours per week
Rate: £45-£50ph
 
Key Responsibilities

• Handling a broad caseload of commercial property matters from start to completion.
• Drafting, negotiating, and completing leases, licences, transfers, and related documentation.
• Managing disposals, acquisitions, and development-related work for the authority.

About You

• A qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Chartered Legal Executive (in England and Wales) with 3 years or more of PQE in Commercial Property law.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
• Ideally someone who had worked within a public sector commercial property legal team.
