A client within the Public Sector based in Bristol is currently recruiting for a RICS or Associate RICS Surveyor to join their Right to Buy Applications Team as soon as possible. The client is offering a full-time, temporary position on an ongoing basis with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority within a housing/property surveying environment.
The Role
Key purpose of the role is to support and manage the valuation and surveying requirements associated with Right to Buy applications, ensuring accurate assessments and compliance with legislation.
Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
• Carrying out property surveys for Right to Buy valuations (3 days on site / 2 days working from home)
• Preparing accurate valuation reports in accordance with the Right to Buy legislation
• Liaising with tenants, internal teams, and external stakeholders throughout the application process
• Assessing property conditions and identifying any factors affecting valuation
• Ensuring all documentation and processes meet statutory and organisational requirements
The Candidate
To be considered for this role you will require:
• RICS or Associate RICS qualification
• Previous experience working with Right to Buy applications
• Proven property valuation experience
The below skills would be beneficial for the role:
• Experience within a local authority housing or property environment
• Strong analytical and reporting skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering up to £275 per day Umbrella LTD Inside IR35 (approx. £210 per day PAYE).
