About the Role
Service Care Solutions are recruiting on behalf of a respected charity for a Criminal Justice Recovery Coordinator to join their team on a temporary contract. This role focuses on supporting individuals within the criminal justice system – whether in custody, preparing for release, or under community orders such as Alcohol Treatment Requirements (ATR) or Drug Rehabilitation Requirements (DRR).
You’ll play a vital role in helping individuals address substance misuse, reduce harm, and work towards sustained recovery while lowering the risk of reoffending.

- PAYE (including holiday): £20.33 per hour
- PAYE (excluding holiday): £18.14 per hour
About the Role
Service Care Solutions are recruiting on behalf of a respected charity for a Criminal Justice Recovery Coordinator to join their team on a temporary contract. This role focuses on supporting individuals within the criminal justice system – whether in custody, preparing for release, or under community orders such as Alcohol Treatment Requirements (ATR) or Drug Rehabilitation Requirements (DRR).
You’ll play a vital role in helping individuals address substance misuse, reduce harm, and work towards sustained recovery while lowering the risk of reoffending.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide tailored case management for service users in prison, on probation, or on community treatment orders.
- Deliver assessments, recovery planning, and interventions.
- Work closely with probation, prison staff, courts, and treatment providers.
- Support reintegration into the community and smooth transitions from custody to local services.
- Undertake safeguarding, risk assessments, and case recording.
- Facilitate structured group and one-to-one psychosocial interventions.
- Experience supporting individuals in criminal justice or related services.
- Strong understanding of substance misuse, recovery pathways, and harm reduction.
- Excellent partnership working skills with external agencies.
- Confident managing a busy caseload.
