Your Role as Registered Manager:
  • Provide inspirational leadership that delivers outstanding, child-centred, therapeutic care.

  • Create a resilient, inclusive culture where young people feel heard, supported, and empowered.
  • Oversee all operational aspects of the home: safeguarding, care planning, compliance, staff supervision, training, and development.
  • Lead on budget management, service development, and continuous improvement strategies.
  • Support and mentor your team, including facilitating the QCF Level 3 qualification for care staff.
  • Maintain full regulatory compliance in line with Ofsted, The Children Act 1989, and Children’s Homes Regulations.
What We’re Looking For:
  • 3+ years’ experience working at a senior level in a children’s residential care environment.
  • Level 3 or 4 Diploma in Children and Young People’s Workforce.
  • Level 5 Diploma (or working towards) in Leadership for Health and Social Care (Children and Young People’s Management).
  • In-depth understanding of safeguarding, legislation, and compliance standards within children’s residential care.
  • Proven experience in budgeting, financial management, and strategic leadership.
  • Passionate about improving children’s lives and achieving positive, long-lasting outcomes.
