- Ensure all operational aspects run smoothly — including safeguarding, care planning, compliance, and team development.
- Coach and mentor your team, helping them grow and progress, including facilitating QCF Level 3 qualifications.
- Lead on budget management, service development and continuous improvement.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a senior role within a similar children’s residential setting.
- Level 3 or 4 in Children and Young People’s Workforce.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care Services (Children and Young People) — achieved or currently working towards.
- Strong knowledge of key legislation including:
- The Children Act 1989
- Children’s Home Regulations
- Safeguarding best practices
- Proven experience managing budgets and operational performance.
- A genuine passion and commitment to achieving the best outcomes for children.
- A full UK driving licence.
- Flexibility to meet the demands of the service, including on-call duties.
