Are you an experienced leader passionate about delivering exceptional care for children with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD)? We are working with a nationwide care group specialising in supporting children and young people in the community and are looking for a Registered Manager to establish and lead a new Ofsted-regulated service, ensuring the highest standards of care and operational excellence.

We are working with a nationwide care group specialising in supporting children and young people in the community and are looking for a Registered Manager to establish and lead a new Ofsted-regulated service, ensuring the highest standards of care and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a fully compliant Ofsted-registered children’s home, promoting a culture of high performance and person-centred care.
- Ensure safeguarding, health & safety, and quality standards are met at all times.
- Inspire, coach, and develop a skilled workforce, fostering staff engagement and professional growth.
- Manage financial viability, business development, and service marketing to drive success.
- Maintain excellent communication with internal teams, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
- Participate in the managers’ out-of-hours on-call rota.
- Continuously promote innovation and improvement, aiming for ‘Good’ or Outstanding Ofsted ratings.
- Ofsted registration or ability to register as a manager for a new service.
- At least 2 years’ experience in residential childcare within the last 5 years.
- At least 1 year managing or supervising staff in a care setting.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
- Integrity, resilience, and professionalism with a passion for excellent childcare.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Commercial awareness and financial management experience.
- Lead a new, innovative EBD service from the ground up.
- Work in a supportive, values-driven organisation focused on quality, safeguarding, and positive outcomes for children.
