Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a Repairs Surveyor on behalf of a Hampshire based Council.
This is an excellent opportunity to join the Building Repairs team, supporting the delivery of repairs, voids and planned maintenance projects across a varied housing stock.

Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a Repairs Surveyor on behalf of a Hampshire based Council.
This is an excellent opportunity to join the Building Repairs team, supporting the delivery of repairs, voids and planned maintenance projects across a varied housing stock.
Responsibilities
- Survey Council housing stock and assess repairs and maintenance requirements
- Diagnose defects and determine the most appropriate remedial works
- Manage repairs and void works through the NEC3 term service contract
- Deliver planned repair projects up to £50,000 in value
- Support damp and mould cases, including work linked to Awaab’s Law
- Manage projects including roofing, cladding, fire upgrades, window replacement and structural repairs
- Update stock condition data and maintain accurate property records
- Liaise with residents, councillors, contractors and internal stakeholders
- Investigate complaints and disrepair cases where required
- Support and deputise for the Building Repairs Manager
- Previous experience working as a Repairs Surveyor, Maintenance Surveyor or Building Surveyor
- Strong knowledge of responsive repairs, voids and planned maintenance
- Experience managing contractors and NEC3 term service contracts
- Understanding of damp and mould, disrepair and housing repairs legislation
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise workloads
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
