Resident Liaison Officer – Temporary Contract (12 Weeks)
£21.95 LTD per hour
Covering Bromley, Lambeth, Lewisham & Croydon
Full Time – Monday to Friday
I’m currently working on behalf of a well-regarded housing provider who are seeking a Resident Liaison Officer to support their neighbourhood teams across Bromley, Lambeth, Lewisham and Croydon. This is a 12-week placement, ideal for someone who is confident engaging with residents, contractors and internal teams to ensure communication is clear and services are delivered smoothly.
You’ll act as a visible and proactive point of contact for residents, ensuring queries are handled promptly, complaints are addressed professionally, and feedback contributes meaningfully to service improvement.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Be the main liaison between residents, contractors and internal housing teams.
  • Support and deliver resident engagement strategies across multiple neighbourhoods.
  • Co-ordinate responses to resident enquiries and complaints, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
  • Attend meetings, community engagement events, site visits and forums as needed.
  • Assist in communicating planned works or service changes.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure GDPR compliance.
  • Promote a positive, supportive, and resident-focused service.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Experience in a resident-facing role within Housing, Local Authority, or similar.
  • Confident communicator with excellent relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable handling complaints and challenging situations calmly.
  • Organised, proactive and able to prioritise a varied workload.
  • IT literate and confident with written correspondence and record-keeping.
  • Ability to travel across Bromley, Lambeth, Lewisham and Croydon.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working directly with residents, being out and about in the community, and taking ownership of their casework and communication.
