Residential Property Solicitor

Service Care Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a well-regarded Local Authority, based in Rugby, which is seeking an experienced Residential Property Solicitor to join their busy Legal Services team. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident property soliciotr seeking a stable, flexible assignment within a supportive public-sector environment.
 
Role: Residential Property Solicitor – Local Authority
Location: Rugby – hybrid
Umbrella Rate: Rate: £45 to £50ph
PAYE Inc. Rate: £39.75 to £44.10ph
Contract: 3 months ongoing – 21 hours per week over three days
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Handling Right to Buy matters and buy-back transactions.
• Managing sales and purchases of residential properties.
• Dealing with lease extensions, renewals and drafting.
• Advising on Consent Orders.
• Processing and advising on Assets of Community Value (ACV) applications.
• Using IKEN or similar Case Management Systems to manage files efficiently.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of PQE in Residential Property Law as a Solicitor (in England and Wales) with a current practicing certificate.
• Strong experience in residential property work within a local authority or comparable setting.
• Competence with IKEN or other recognised CMS platforms.
