Are you passionate about making a difference in children’s lives? We're looking for three dedicated Residential Support Workers to join the team at JGS – John Greenwood Shipman Centre, a vibrant and specialist short breaks service for children and young people aged 5–18.

37 hours per week | 3-month contract | Shifts include days, nights & weekends

- Autism, ADHD, or dual diagnoses
- Mild physical disabilities and complex behaviours associated with their conditions
About the Home: JGS is a 6-bed short breaks service located in a quiet residential area of Northampton, specially designed to meet the complex needs of children and young people.
Facilities include:
- Sensory room & soft play area
- Themed child-friendly bedrooms
- Smart TV lounges & computer gaming room
- Accessible bathrooms & Jacuzzi bath
- Enclosed garden and outdoor play areas
- Kitchen & dining spaces for independence & socialising
- Minibus for off-site activities
- Deliver safe, person-centred care within a structured environment
- Support with personal care, daily routines, and social development
- Promote independence, inclusion, and positive relationships
- Engage children in fun, meaningful activities on-site and in the community
- Work flexibly across a rota covering days, nights, and weekends
- Experience or strong interest in supporting children with complex needs
- A caring, patient, and resilient approach
- Ability to work as part of a team in a busy residential setting
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare
