The Role As Responsible Individual / Service Manager, you will:
- Take full operational responsibility for a cluster of children’s homes, ensuring outstanding care, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance.
- Support and mentor Registered Managers, promoting professional development and a culture of excellence.
- Oversee governance, quality assurance, and performance frameworks to deliver the best outcomes for children and young people.
- Lead the setup and registration of new homes, including staff recruitment and embedding therapeutic care models.
- Maintain oversight of OFSTED standards and prepare services for inspections.
- Report directly to the Board on service performance, growth plans, and regulatory matters.
- Proven leadership experience across multiple children’s homes, ideally in EBD and/or Learning Disabilities.
- A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
- Eligibility and readiness to be named as Responsible Individual with OFSTED.
- Strong safeguarding, compliance, and regulatory knowledge.
- Exceptional communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across services.
