Service Care Legal are working with North London local authority who are seeking an experienced Right to Buy Property Lawyer for a 3-month contract. Hybrid working with approx. one day per week on-site.
ROLE: Right to Buy Property Lawyer
LOCATION: North London / remote
RATE: £37.12ph umbrella / £32.91ph PAYE inc. holiday pay / £29.37ph PAYE exc. holiday pay
CONTRACT: 3 months with possibility of extension, 36 hours per weke
Please ntoe this would require office attendance 1 day per week.
Role Overview - You’ll manage a busy caseload of residential property matters with a strong focus on Right to Buy transactions. Work includes drafting and negotiating property documentation, advising internal clients, ensuring compliance, and supporting the wider Property & Planning Legal Team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Handle RTB applications and related conveyancing work.
- Draft and negotiate leases, transfers, licences, and other property documents.
- Provide clear legal advice on property law and local authority powers.
- Conduct due diligence and manage risk.
- Maintain accurate case management records and meet performance targets.
- Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or CILEx Lawyer.
- Strong knowledge of property law, conveyancing, and landlord & tenant matters.
- Experience with complex drafting and RTB transactions.
- Excellent communication and caseload management skills.
