Roofer

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Roofer to join a repairs and maintenance team covering the Nottingham, Leicester and Derby areas. This role involves working on both void and occupied domestic properties. We’re looking for a Roofer with a full driving licence and experience in construction or domestic housing. A van and fuel card will be provided along with a company mobile and uniform.

Duties Include:
 

• Carry out roof repairs and maintenance on both occupied and void domestic properties.
• Repair and replace roof tiles, slates, ridge tiles and associated roofing materials.
• Diagnose roofing defects, leaks and structural issues, providing effective repairs.
• Install and repair felt roofing systems, flashing, leadwork and waterproof membranes.
• Carry out guttering, fascia and soffit repairs and replacements.
• Perform minor roof renewals and planned maintenance works.
• Ensure all roofing work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Safely erect and work from ladders, access equipment and scaffolding.

This is a fantastic opportunity to secure sociable, full-time hours Monday to Friday. The hourly pay rate for this role is £23.32 Ltd (PAYE equivalent £20.01 inclusive of holiday).

You will be working a standard 37-hour week, with potential for overtime. An immediate start is available.

You will need:
 

• NVQ Level 2 or above in Roofing
• Full UK driving licence (Manual Vehicles)
