Job Title: School Cleaner (Primary School)
Location: Primary School Site
Hours: Variable – Morning or Evening Shifts Available
Job Purpose:
To maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for pupils, staff, and visitors by carrying out a range of cleaning duties across the primary school premises.

Job Purpose:
To maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for pupils, staff, and visitors by carrying out a range of cleaning duties across the primary school premises.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean classrooms, corridors, offices, and shared areas.
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste in accordance with school procedures.
- Clean and disinfect toilets, sinks, and washroom areas.
- Wipe and sanitise desks, tables, door handles, and other frequently touched surfaces.
- Clean windows, glass panels, and internal doors where required.
- Refill cleaning supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet roll.
- Ensure cleaning equipment is used safely and stored correctly.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or health and safety concerns to the Site Manager.
- Follow school safeguarding, health and safety, and infection control procedures at all times.
- Hours may vary depending on school needs.
- Shifts may include:
- Early morning shifts (before school opening)
- Evening shifts (after school closing) Flexibility may be required during school events or holiday periods.

Essential:
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to follow cleaning and safety procedures.
- Previous cleaning experience (school or commercial environment preferred).
- Basic knowledge of health and safety practices.Additional Information:
- An enhanced DBS check may be required due to working within a school environment.
- Full training and cleaning equipment will be provided.
