Salary/payrates - £240 per day
Length of contract – 3-6 months

Role overview:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Secondary School Teacher to join our team and inspire students to achieve their full potential. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging lessons in your subject area, fostering a positive learning environment, and supporting the academic and personal development of pupils aged 11–16 (or up to 18, depending on the school).

Duties/Roles:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in line with the national curriculum or school syllabus.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of all learners (including SEN, EAL, gifted, etc.).
• Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to engage pupils and promote learning.
• Regularly assess student progress using formal and informal methods.
• Use data to inform future teaching and support interventions.
• Prepare pupils for internal and external examinations or assessments.
• Write reports for parents, heads of department, or external bodies.
• Promote student wellbeing and provide pastoral support where needed.
• Take part in CPD (Continuing Professional Development) opportunities.
• Contribute to the school’s ethos and values.

Person specification:

• Grade 4 (C) or above in GCSE English and Maths
• Grade 4 (C) or above in GCSE Science (if you're teaching primary or early years)
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Postgraduate Initial Teacher Training (PGCE)

Essential requirements:

• Right to work in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS.
• Provide references/ employment.
• Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable).
