SEN Teaching Assistant – EYFS, KS1 & KS2 | Mainstream Primary 

Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to thrive in a mainstream primary setting? Do you enjoy working across different age groups and adapting to meet a variety of learning needs?

We are seeking a dedicated, caring, and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, working within mixed year groups.

The Role As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with a range of additional needs (e.g. ASD, ADHD, speech & language, SEMH)
  
  
• Work across Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1), and Key Stage 2 (KS2)
  
  
• Adapt learning activities to meet individual EHCP and support plan targets
  
  
• Support children’s academic, social, and emotional development
  
  
• Promote inclusion, independence, and positive behaviour strategies
  
  
• Liaise effectively with class teachers, SENCO, and parents
  
  
• Contribute to a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment
  
  

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

• Has experience supporting children with SEN in a primary setting
  
  
• Is confident working across different age phases (EYFS–KS2)
  
  
• Demonstrates patience, empathy, and resilience
  
  
• Can build strong, trusting relationships with pupils
  
  
• Is flexible, proactive, and a strong team player
  
  
• Holds a Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential)
