£455.50 per day (umbrella) (£361.88 PAYE per day)

A Local Authority in the East of England is seeking two experienced SEND Project Managers to support the delivery of key transformation programmes on an interim basis while permanent recruitment is underway.
Role 1: Project Manager – Experts at Hand (EAH) Pilot You will lead the mobilisation and implementation of a pilot programme across approximately 36 primary and secondary schools. Working collaboratively with education, health and Local Authority teams, you will ensure effective delivery aligned to programme objectives around early intervention and inclusive practice.
Role 2: Project Manager – Inclusion Bases Rollout You will oversee the implementation and mobilisation of Inclusion Bases across approximately 18 schools, ensuring operational readiness, stakeholder engagement and alignment with agreed service specifications.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day mobilisation and implementation across participating schools
- Coordinate activity across education, health and Local Authority stakeholders
- Manage delivery plans, milestones, risks and dependencies
- Support stakeholder engagement, communications and programme alignment
- Ensure readiness across schools, including processes, governance and resources
- Monitor progress and performance, capturing insights and lessons learned
- Prepare reports and updates for programme governance
- Maintain programme documentation including risk registers and action logs
- Successful engagement and mobilisation of all participating schools
- Delivery of programme milestones to time and quality
- Effective management of risks and issues
- Strong evidence base to support evaluation and future rollout
- Established operational foundations to enable a smooth transition to permanent staff
