Senior Administrator – Construction / Refurbishment
£25,000–£30,000 + Benefits (Private Healthcare & Pension)

Office-based – Hertfordshire (commutable to Hitchin/Stevenage)
A growing refurbishment contractor is looking for a highly organised Senior Administrator to support the smooth running of the business and multiple live projects. This is a varied role acting as Administrator/PA/Office Manager, working closely with the senior leadership team to ensure project and office operations run efficiently.
The company deliver refurbishment works valued between £20K–£1.6M across Commercial, Education, Industrial and Residential sectors.

Responsibilities:
- Manage Directors’ diaries – arranging meetings, site visits and key appointments
 - Coordinate day-to-day office and project administration to support project delivery
 - Act as a key point of contact for clients – issuing quotes, scheduling works, and assisting with valuations
 - Oversee upkeep of company vehicles – MOT, tax, servicing, compliance
 - Maintain office systems and ensure a smooth working environment for the team
 - Issue Health & Safety documentation and support with RAMS where required
 - Support HR administration – holidays, expenses, sickness, accommodation, overtime
 - Coordinate subcontractor onboarding – ensuring documentation is in place before works commence
 
Requirements:
- Strong organisational, planning and problem-solving skills
 - Confident IT user with ability to learn project admin tools quickly
 - Understanding of – or willingness to learn – basic H&S and CDM Regulations
 - Experience in contract administration or construction admin beneficial
 - Excellent written and verbal communication skills across clients, teams and suppliers
 - Ability to work independently and within a small team
 - Full UK driving licence preferred
