Senior Adult Social Care Solicitor

Service Care Solutions is working with a supportive local authority, based in Norfolk, which that is seeking an experienced Senior Adult Social Care Solicitor to join its legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified solicitor with comprehensive experience across adult social care law.
 
Role: Senior Adult Social Care Solicitor
Location: Norfolk – Remote Working
Hours: 15 hours per week, Thursdays & Fridays
Umbrella Rate: £60-£70ph
PAYE Inc. Rate : £52.30 - £61ph
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a varied and complex adult social care legal caseload from start to completion.
• Line manage team members through allocating work and resources to meet client timescales; developing staff skills, and ensuring work is done at the correct level of expertise.
• Provide advocacy in the Court of Protection, Coroner’s Inquests, Public Inquiries, and other venues as required.

Requirements:

• A qualified Solicitor with strong experience across all areas of adult social care law.
• Proven ability to manage a complex caseload independently with minimal supervision
• Experience providing advice to a local authority or similar public sector organisation.
• Ability to supervise and support other members of the legal team.
