Senior Associate - Dispute Resolution

Service Care Legal are working with well-regarded law firm is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Dispute Resolution team. This is a key hire into a growing Dispute Resolution team covering a broad range of matters including commercial litigation, contractual and shareholder disputes, insolvency, property litigation, and debt recovery. There is also exposure to PI/medical negligence and construction disputes.

ROLE:                  Senior Associate - Dispute Resolution            
PQE:                     5 years’
LOCATION:         Guildford
SALARY:              £65,000 to £80,000 per annum

The Role:
 

• Manage a caseload of high-value, complex commercial disputes
• Act as a senior fee earner, delivering high-quality client service
• Support partners on more complex matters
• Mentor and supervise junior lawyers, including trainees
• Play an active role in the development and growth of the Guildford team

About You:
 

• Qualified Solicitor with strong disputes experience (5 years’ PQE)
• Proven experience in commercial/contractual disputes (shareholder disputes desirable)
• Experience in construction disputes advantageous
• Demonstrated ability or ambition to mentor and supervise others
• Commercially minded, proactive, and collaborative
