Senior Childcare Lawyer

Service Care Solutions are working alongside a reputable West London Borough Council who are seeking a Childcare Lawyer to join their team on a contract basis. Please find below further details with regards to this position.

ROLE:                  Senior Childcare Lawyer
LOCATION:         West London (hybrid – 2 days per week in the office)
RATE:                  £65ph LTD / £57.69ph PAYE inc. holiday pay / £51.48ph PAYE exc. holiday pay
CONTRACT:        3 month initially, 36 hours per week

Please note that this role would require office attendance 2 days per week.

The Role

• Handing a full caseload of childcare matters, providing advice on all aspects of public law children's matters
• Attending PLO and legal planning meetings
• Drafting documents, including statements and threshold agreements

The Person
 

• Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or CILEX with a valid practising certificate
• Strong experience in children’s law within the public sector.
• Ability to independently manage a busy and complex caseload
