Senior Employment Solicitor

Service Care Solutions is currently working in partnership with a local authority, based in Staffordshire, which is looking to recruit an experienced Senior Employment Solicitor to join their legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior employment lawyer looking for a role that combines hands-on employment casework with team management and leadership responsibilities.
 
Role: Senior Employment Solicitor – Local Authority
Location: Staffordshire – Hybrid/Flexible Working
Umbrella Rate: £444 - £481per day
PAYE Inc. Rate: £387.02 - £419.21per day
Contract Length: 5 months ongoing
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Managing and supporting the employment legal team.
• Handling a varied and complex employment law caseload from start to completion.
• Contributing to the effective management and development of the legal service.

Key Requirements:

• A qualified solicitor, barrister or legal executive with significant experience practising employment law.
• Experience managing, supervising or leading a legal team.
• Experience working within, or advising, a public sector/local authority environment would be advantageous.
