Senior Property Solicitor

Service Care Solutions is currently recruiting for a highly experienced Senior Property Solicitor to join a well-established Legal Services team within a Local Authority based in Manchester.

This is an excellent opportunity for a senior-level property lawyer to manage complex commercial property matters and provide strategic legal advice on high-value regeneration and development projects.

The contract is initially 3 months rolling, with potential for extension.

Job Title: Senior Property Solicitor
Location: Greater Manchester (Hybrid Working)
Pay Rate: £55-£60 per hour (Umbrella) – PAYE (Inc.Hol)  - £48.89 - £53.28
Working Pattern: Full-time, Hybrid (office attendance required as per service needs)
 
Key Responsibilities as a Senior Property Solicitor:

• Lead on a complex caseload of commercial and residential property matters on behalf of the Local Authority.
• Supervise and mentor junior solicitors and legal officers where required.
• Attend committees, project boards, and client meetings.

• Advise on high-value development, regeneration, and infrastructure projects.

About you as a Senior Property Solicitor:

• Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or FILEX with substantial post-qualification experience in property law.
• Significant experience handling commercial property matters within a Local Authority or public sector environment. Strong administrative and organisational skills.
• Strong background in regeneration and development projects.
