You will:
- Lead by example and support junior staff on shift
- Build strong, trusting relationships with young people
- Support care plans and behaviour management strategies
- Ensure safeguarding and wellbeing is always the top priority
- Contribute to a positive and stable home environment
- NVQ Level 3 in Children & Young People (or equivalent) – ESSENTIAL
- Previous experience in a residential childcare setting
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection
- Ability to work a 2 on, 4 off shift pattern, including sleep-ins
- Passion, resilience, and a genuine desire to make a difference
- Competitive hourly rate of £14.50 per hour
- £60 per sleep-in on top of your hourly rate
- Excellent work-life balance with a 2 on, 4 off rota
